There are many reasons why an Anti-Virus Software Package may detect but not remove a virus.
Depending on the characteristics of the virus it may be necessary to exit out of Windows and run a DOS Command Line Scan.
Or it may be necessary to actually remove the virus manually. The utilities available in McAfee.com's Virus Support Center have been designed to help
you address various virus related issues. We have also included manual removal instructions for 10 viruses customers most commonly ask about,
and we will be updating this list on a regular basis. In addition, we have added links to executable files available for download.
However, these are not formal release products. They have not been approved by Quality Assurance and could cause false alarms as well as
technical difficulties on your machine(s).
